Francisco Ruiz-Tagle , CEO

Francisco Ruiz-Tagle holds a Business and Administration degree with a minor in economics from the Universidad de Chile and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Mr. Ruiz-Tagle joined CMPC in 1991. Since then, he has served as CEO of Celulosa del Pacifico, Deputy CFO of CMPC and CEO of Papelera del Plata and CEO of CMPC Paper Products, now merged with CMPC Packaging. In 2011, he became CEO of CMPC Forestry. In January 2016, he took over as CEO CMPC Forestry/Pulp, position he held until 2018 when he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CMPC, succeeding Mr. Hernán Rodríguez.

Felipe Alcalde, Chief Innovation Officer

Felipe Alcalde has a degree in Law from the Catholic University of Chile and an MBA from INSEAD. He joined CMPC in March, 2019 as Chief Innovation Officer. Before that, he was part of McKinsey & Company.

Jaime Argüelles, CEO CMPC Pulp

Jaime has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Gijon, Spain, an International MBA from EOI (Escuela de Organización Industrial) and an executive development degree from IESE Business School. Before joining CMPC, Jaime served as General Director for Pulp at ENCE Group where he was responsible for overseeing Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Sales, Logistics and Research and Development. In this capacity, he was also a member of the Director's Committee of the Group. Additionally, Jaime was President of the European Association of Pulp Manufacturers and the Energy Efficiency and Industrial Safety Committee of the Chemical Industry Association of the Asturias Region in Spanish, as well as previously the President of the Iberian Association of Pulp Traders.

José Antonio Correa, Chief Business Development Officer

José Antonio Correa has a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile and an MBA from UCLA. He joined CMPC on August 8, 2004. Throughout his career at the Company, he has served as Head of Administration of CMPC Pulp and Head of Business Development of CMPC Pulp, among others, before his appointment as Chief Business Development Officer of CMPC as of December 1, 2018.

Rafael Cox, Chief Legal Officer

Rafael Cox studied Law at the Universidad de Los Andes (Chile) and received a Master of Law in Corporate Law from Universidad de Los Andes (Chile) and a Master of Law in Corporate Governance from Stanford University Law School. He began working at CMPC in 2001 as In House Counsel. In 2010, Mr. Cox became deputy Chief Legal Officer and in 2016 he was appointed Chief Legal Officer and he has served as that from 2016 until now.

Gonzalo Darraidou , CEO Softys

Gonzalo Darraidou studied Business and Administration at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Mr. Darraidou served as CEO of Forus S.A. until joining CMPC in November 2015 as CEO of Softys.

Ignacio Goldsack, CFO

Ignacio Goldsack studied Business and Administration at the Universidad de Los Andes (Chile) and received an MBA from the MIT. In February 2016 he assumed as the CFO of CMPC, succeeding Mr. Luis Llanos. Mr. Goldsack has an extensive experience in the banking and financial sector, having served as Director and Head of Corporates in Deutsche Bank in Chile prior entering to CMPC.

Rodrigo Hetz, Chief Human Resources Officer

Rodrigo Hetz has a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from the University of Chile (Universidad de Chile) and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He joined CMPC in March, 2019 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Previously, Rodrigo served for eight years as Chief Human Resources Officer of Cencosud with and a work force of 140 thousand people across five countries in South America under his supervision. Rodrigo started his professional carreer in 1999 at Citigroup in USA and Chile and also had great professional success at McKinsey as Associate Principal.

Cristóbal Irarrázabal, CEO CMPC Packaging

Cristóbal Irarrázabal studied engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and received an MBA from Wharton. In March, 2018, he assumed the position of CEO of CMPC Packaging. Before joining CMPC, Mr. Irarrázabal, served for 18 years at the Falabella Holding, his latest position was CEO of the Tottus supermarket.

Guillermo Turner , Corporate Affairs Manager

Guillermo studied Journalism at the Universidad Gabriela Mistral and received a PADE Certification from Universidad de Los Andes. Until April 2016 he served as Director of the newspaper La Tercera. He has 25 years of a successful career. He was President of the National Press Association, Director of Diario Financiero, Editorial Development Manager of Mega TV, Director of Capital Magazine and creator of Pulso newspaper.
